  • techniques needed when high-throughput platforms that generate large volumes of data are used;
  • power calculations for the efficient and economical design of experiments.

Resources

The recommended text for this course is Harvey Motulsky's "Intuitive Biostatistics: A Nonmathematical Guide to Statistical Thinking", or "Essential Biostatistics: A Nonmathematical Approach", also by Harvey Motulsky.

We'll be working through many examples using the GraphPad Prism software package. A license will be provided to you for the duration of this course. You do NOT need to purchase Prism for this class.
