ASSIST for Submission of NIH Multi-Project Applications

The NIH has developed ASSIST (Application Submission System & Interface for Submission Tracking) for the preparation and submission of multi-project applications. As announced in NOT-OD-13-075, the NIH is transitioning multi-project applications to electronic submission using the SF 424 R&R form set.

Electronic submission is required for all applications intended for due dates on or after September 25, 2013 and submitted in response to FOAs with the following activity codes: P01, P20, P50, U19, R24, and U24.

Investigators intending to participate in a multi-project application - whether as a PI and/or as a sub - are advised to contact their assigned OSPA Sponsored Projects Officer early, specify if RU will be the prime or the sub, and provide the Funding Opportunity Announcement Number.
