Sponsored Programs Administration

The Rockefeller University's Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (OSPA) facilitates and streamlines sponsored research grant and contract administration in compliance with pertinent policies and regulations. The OSPA Director reports to the University's Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Driven by the university mission, OSPA offers services and resources to enable the university's pioneering research, partnering with investigators, compliance areas, and other central administration offices to advance research, training, and facilities.

OSPA anticipates and responds to research needs and shifting funding trends, and assists investigators and their staff in identifying funding resources, navigating the sponsored research funding landscape, and in applying for and managing sponsored research awards. We identify and disseminate funding opportunities, we review sponsored research applications and reports, and we endorse and submit them on behalf of the university.

OSPA acts as a liaison to sponsor agencies in negotiating agreements and resolving funding issues.
