Major Instrumentation Requests
To streamline submissions and prevent duplications of major equipment requests, there is a need to coordinate University proposals for shared instrumentation. Please inform OSPA Director of your instrumentation submission plans at your earliest convenience and OSPA staff will verify that your request meets University requirements and sponsors' guidelines often associated with major equipment opportunities. The University Research Support Office and the overseeing Associate Vice President must be fully informed as early as possible of opportunities and plans to submit major equipment requests, whether institutional or not.
Shared Facilities Requests
Please inform OSPA Director of your facilities submission plans at your earliest convenience and OSPA staff will verify that your request meets University requirements and sponsor guidelines for the facilities funding initiative. In addition, the relevant Vice President must be fully informed as early as possible regarding your plans to submit facility requests in order to obtain the necessary approvals from senior University officials.
