Proteomics Resource Center
The Proteomics Resource Center offers a full suite of proteomic services for understanding biomolecule biochemistry. The Center has four mass spectrometers, an ABI DE-STR MALDI-TOF, an ABI QSTAR XL, a ThermoFinnigan LTQ ion trap mass spectrometer, and a Thermo LTQ-OrbiTrap mass spectrometer. Other services include proteomic analysis, Edman sequencing and peptide synthesis. The Center also works on the development of methodologies for microanalytical techniques and biopolymer synthesis. Training is offered in the use of its mass spectrometers, variable imager, phosphoimager, high-performance liquid chromatography systems and other instruments.
