Winter 2008 News Bulletin
As we start 2008, The Rockefeller University's Office of Sponsored Research and Program Development (SR-PD) is launching a news bulletin to update you on changes in the office, and especially on new and renewed services to support you and promote the University research enterprise.
In addition to the daily research administration efforts, in the last quarter of 2007 SR-PD staff have been busy revitalizing vision and operations, designing and building a new Program Development area, increasing communication and interactions with the University community, and evaluating and customizing services in response to and anticipation of investigators' needs.
The newly expanded efforts at SR-PD led to the hiring of Ava Griffith, a new Grants Management Specialist, and creating a new position of Program Development and Training Manager, assumed by Peh Hernandez.
Working with IT, our website is being enhanced and updated daily, to offer more content and features, more integration of resources, and more research administration capabilities in a dynamic and friendly fashion. Furthermore, a new site is under development.
Our staff is working closely with InfoEd (University's e-submission environment) to increase the application reliability and ease of use, as well as to enable better searching and reporting functionalities for researchers and administrators.
